But Carfax confirms that it is a 750iL V12.

I really dislike the Dinan badge because it always looks like a cheap stick-on from Autozone.

I’ve always thought that it was cheap stick-on from AutoZone.

Nope! You can buy a really expensive car that’ll come with it from day 1! The badge has gotten a little bit better, though....

The problem with falsifying a Dinan badge is that you’re impressing approximately 0 people, because most people have no idea wtf Dinan is, so why bother?

Sure is parked like a Bimmer.
If a Dinan is an aftermarket tune, how would you know from a Carfax? Wouldn’t the VIN just return a regular 7-series anyway? Or do Dinans come from a factory with their own unique VINs compared to BMWs?

So does that lead you to think it’s likely real? Because like I said, I’ve go no clue but my hunch tells me no.

I wouldn’t know from a carfax. An Alpina has a different VIN and would register on Carfax, a Dinan does not. I just meant that it was in fact a V12 and not a 740 V8.

No clue, but if I had to guess either way I’d say yes just based on the reasoning I mentioned earlier. If they wanted to fake performance they’d do the typical M badging and just hope people don’t know better
